You can become a sponsor by doing any one or more  of the following:

1. Provide mentors for the program. Mentors must be people with software development experience of more than 5 years.
2. Provide space and facilities for the trainees (a desk, a computer and internet connectivity)
3. By sponsoring specific projects - proof of concept prototypes, research projects
